Nesebar is once again hosting the International Children’s Football Tournament “Black Sea Cup”, which is held in two stages. The second stage of this prestigious event will take place from August 29 to September 3, bringing together around 1,500 children from 90 teams from Bulgaria, Moldova and Romania, born between 2012 and 2019. Nesebar will be represented by young athletes from the youth academy of the Municipal Football Club Nessebar and the Football Club Athletic.
The tournament is held under the patronage of Nesebar Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov. “I am proud that our city is hosting such a large-scale tournament. We are investing in sports infrastructure to provide excellent conditions for international events of this kind. Children’s sports are a key priority in the municipality’s policies, as they instill discipline, team spirit, sportsmanship, determination and perseverance in young people,” Mayor Dimitrov commented.
The tournament matches will be played at the stadiums in Nesebar and Ravda. The “Black Sea Cup” is organized by the football club ,,Sport Village'', with the assistance of the Municipal Football Club of Nesebar and the support of Nesebar Municipality.

More than 300 teams from Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Serbia, Croatia, Poland and Finland participate across the two stages.
