On May 28, Nesebar will host part of the program of the twentieth edition of the International Literary Festival “Holy Word”. Each year, the forum brings together poets and writers from different countries and continues to strengthen its significance as a platform for literary and cultural exchange.
During the festival days, participants will present their creative works and share messages of spirituality, culture and artistic unity.
The program in Nesebar includes a literary reading and chant performance at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. John the Baptist - one of the emblematic spiritual spaces of the Old Town and the musical and poetic performance “Under the Heavenly Dome”, which will be presented amid the magnetic atmosphere within the walls of the Basilica of St. Sophia at 11:00 a.m.
The event contributes to establishing the millennia-old Nesebar as a center of spirituality, art and international cultural dialogue. The organizers are the Lyuben Karavelov 1940 Community Center and the Burgas Writers’ Community, while the presentation in Nesebar will take place with the support of the Municipality of Nesebar.
