Nesebar is hosting the fifth edition of the MONTFIZ Art Fest theatre festival, taking place from September 2 to 8. The program is dynamic and diverse, featuring workshops in acting, stage speech, communication, and presentation skills, designed not only for theatre enthusiasts but also for anyone wishing to develop their ability to express themselves freely before an audience.
The theatre workshops will be held every festival day from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the “Yana Laskova – 1905” Community Centre. Additional workshops will also take place at the “Sochi” Conference Centre on September 4, 5, and 7, from 14:00 to 20:00.
Leading the theatre workshops are some of the most prominent practitioners and educators in the field of acting, including Prof. Dr. Penko Gospodinov, Dimitar Kasabov, Georg Kiryakov, Alexander Mandzhukov and Teya Sugareva.
As part of the festival, three theatre performances will be staged at 8:00 p.m. at the “Yana Laskova” Community Centre by various troupes from across Bulgaria. On September 7 at 8:00 p.m., the play “Where Pain Kisses the Light”, based on texts by Bulgarian and foreign poets, will also be performed. All performances will have free admission, serving as a special gift from Nessebar Municipality to the residents and guests of the seaside town.
The festival is organized by the MONTFIZ Acting Schools and Nessebar Municipality.
